Unbelievable texture. Super Soft! |
I have tried this recipe using a Kenwood BM250 bread machine as well as a Tesco bread machine and both of these machines yield the same delicious results every time. If you are using a different brand of a bread machine, simply use the basic white bread setting and let us know in the comments below if this recipe is also a perfect fit.
Milky White Bread Recipe
Ingredients (750g Loaf):200g Fresh Milk (I used Full Cream)
300g Bread Flour (can also substitute this with All-Purpose Flour 1:1)
2 Tbsp Sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tsp Instant Dry Yeast
1 Tbsp Unsalted Butter (to be added at a later time)
A friendly reminder: as with any other bread machine, the ingredients must be placed on the correct order of sequence as listed in the recipe. That is, all liquid first, followed by the flour and other dry ingredients. Yeast, salt, and sugar should be placed far away from each other.
So! With that said, let's continue with the very simple procedures.
1. As mentioned, add the ingredients to the pan in the order listed above (except the butter).
2. Set your bread machine to 750g loaf, light crust and program for the basic white bread recipe (varies per machine) For Kenwood BM250 and Tesco, this program is at 1.
3. Close the lid and press start.
4. After a few minutes of kneading it will stop to rest, it is the time to add the butter. Simply drop the soft butter on the resting dough and close again the lid)
5. The whole process takes approx 3 hours but take heart, once you press start then simply leave it be!
6. After the machine indicates it's done, remove the bread from the pan immediately and let it cool down on a wire rack for about 30 minutes before slicing.
