Globe Rewards Annual G Day 2020 - Instant 917 Points [Pesos] for Globe Users!

It's the time of the year again when Globe rewards loyal subscribers with up to 917 bonus points!

If you are a Globe user then you probably look forward to its generous yearly reward points giveaway every 9-17... The G-Day rewards! The bonus rewards point is as good as cash since each point converts to P1, depending on the merchant where you want to spend it. For example, 917 awarded point is P917 pesos, yey!

Something to look forward to definitely, especially by those irate Globe customers, LOL. Yep, I included, disappointed that is, on a few occasions. No denying their services leave much to be desired at times. But enough of my personal rant, I'll just create another post for that, haha! September 17 is the day Globe makes us happy. You'd sure want to get used to Globe's tagline from now on:

"As our way of saying Thank You here's a treat..."

And in case you missed to notice they give the reward every September 17 - see that when the date is abbreviated, it's 917! Clever!

I know not many Globe subscribers are aware of these rewards or have not heard of Globe's yearly bonus points reward so allow me to share a few important notes of what's in it for you.

Who Can Avail?

Globe Postpaid and Business Plan subscribers. These include Platinum subscribers and also their Globe at Home postpaid subscribers.

Rewards Bonus Points

The awarded number of points will depend on your years of subscription. See table below:

What Can I Do with the Points?

Claim FREEBIES and TREATS! The rewards points is as good as cash so when you purchase from partner shops, instead of shelling it out cash, use the points to pay for your purchase instead.

How To Claim Rewards from Partner Merchants?

First, you must ensure that your line is active. If it's disconnected then simply pay your balance and once your line is reconnected you may use the points right away before it expires on October 2, 2020.

You can still redeem points even if you have an overdue balance, so long as the line is active.

Upon order payment, you just need to text a short message to 4438 like the one in the green highlight:

I have been using the Globe Rewards in KFC, Max, National Bookstore and Marks & Spencer for many years now. They even had Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf before.

Don't worry as each partner has a copy of these instructions at their cashier so no need to remember anything. Or if you have their GRewards App, use it as it is much easier to redeem there.

Download Globe Rewards App

For easier rewards redemption anytime, anywhere, better download the Globe Rewards App on your phone. Simply launch the app, select the merchant then click "Redeem" and wait for the unique confirmation code. Show the code to the cashier and all is good!

List of Partner Merchants

What's nice about the Globe Rewards is that they partner with popular merchants nationwide such as National Bookstore, all of Bench, Charles & Keith, Kashieca, Human, Rustan's, and food outlets like Jolibee, KFC, Max Restaurant, Figaro Coffee, Krispy Kreme, DQ. Pay with points for your food and other essentials easy-peasy. Really convenient, right?

For the complete list of partner merchants, you may refer to this Merchant List from Globe.

Bonus Points Validity

Now, this is critical. You must claim it as soon as you can or else it will expire! Validity of the Bonus points is only until October 2, 2020.

Do note that the regular points expiration is different from your bonus points expiration.

Just to add, this year I noticed some stricter changes in the TnC of this promo, the addition of points category: Regular Points and Partner Points. For the past couple of years, I used to avail of the Bill Rebate since it is more convenient for me. The rewards points I get, I use to pay for my overdue balance (if any) or I simply avail it to be credited for future payments. But now, you can no longer use the rewards points to avail of the Bill Rebate, only your regular points can be used for this.

I think I've covered all the important details so head on to your preferred merchant to start claiming your rewards or buy early Christmas presents!
